Self-Storage Facility Electrical Contractor

At Core Electric, we designed and installed the complete electrical infrastructure for a 126,000-square-foot multi-story self-storage facility built to accommodate a wide range of storage needs. The facility offers unit sizes from 5′ × 5′ to 10′ × 30′, with a mix of indoor-access units, drive-up options, climate-controlled spaces, and secure vehicle storage. Convenience is built into every level, with elevator service connecting multiple floors and ensuring easy access for customers.

Our team provided a full-spectrum electrical solution from the ground up. Inside the facility, we installed high-efficiency LED lighting throughout, delivering bright, uniform illumination while keeping energy costs low and maintenance minimal. For a building of this size and function, lighting plays a critical role in safety, customer experience, and operational efficiency, and we designed the system to excel in each of those areas.

Power distribution was another core component of our work. We implemented a complete building-wide distribution system capable of handling present demands and allowing for future expansion. Every panel, feeder, and circuit was carefully planned, installed, and tested to ensure consistent performance and compliance with all applicable codes.

Life safety was also a top priority. We installed fire alarm conduit and coordinated system placement to meet stringent safety requirements while supporting reliable emergency notification throughout the facility. Our experience in code-compliant fire alarm integration ensured the system was ready for inspection and long-term dependable service.

For the vertical access systems, we provided complete wiring for the facility’s elevators, including power and controls. This work was performed to the highest standards, ensuring that the elevators operate smoothly and reliably, supporting both customer convenience and operational efficiency.

From initial design through final inspection, we managed every detail to deliver a fully functional, code-compliant electrical system on schedule.
